XLS Padlock 2026.3 is available today. This maintenance release focuses on the everyday experience of your customers: updating their applications, checking their licenses, and reopening saved work. We recommend upgrading if your maintenance is active.

Safer Web Updates
Applications built with 2026.3 check update files before installing them. Files that have been altered or do not belong to your project are rejected, so your customers receive only the updates you generated.

Better license checks
A temporary connection problem no longer permanently blacklists a valid Activation Key. Online validation only blacklists a key when your server explicitly refuses it, and connection errors show a clearer message.

More reliable workbooks
Fixes address intermittent startup freezes and unexpected closures. Rebuilt applications restore cell-value saves correctly again, including files created with 2026.2. Number and text handling also improves.

How to upgrade
- Install XLS Padlock 2026.3 over your current version.
- Re-pack and redistribute your workbooks. Your customers receive the fixes through the rebuilt applications.
- Update your server kit if you use online activation. Follow your kit’s upgrade guide.
Existing Activation Keys and offline license keys keep working unchanged.
Using Web Update? Back up your project file and keep using it for future releases. It contains the signing key your distributed applications trust. The Web Update guide explains the steps.
