How to Save and Restore Settings Using Templates
XLS Padlock allows you to save your current project settings into a template file. This is a powerful feature that can save you a significant amount of time, especially if you frequently create new workbook applications with similar configurations.
Saving Project Settings to a Template
Section titled “Saving Project Settings to a Template”Once you have configured all the desired options for your project (such as security settings, customization, and output options), you can save this configuration as a template.
Click the 
.XPLP extension).
Restoring Settings from a Template
Section titled “Restoring Settings from a Template”When you start a new project or want to apply a standard configuration to an existing one, you can easily restore settings from a previously saved template.
Click the 
.XPLP template file, and select it. All of the settings stored in that template will be instantly applied to your current project.
